In 2015-16, I managed Camden Arts Centre's first Youth Collective, bringing together 15-25 year olds to create, discuss and encounter visual arts. Run by artists Evan Ifekoya and Adam J B Walker, young people were invited to explore and be inspired by Camden Art Centre's archive, in celebration of its 50th year funded by Heritage Lottery Fund.
The youth collective produced a pop up event, designed a digital scrapbook and curated an exhibition of their work, which then became part of the archive itself. HLF ended up producing a film about one of the member’s experiences. I ran Gold Arts Award with two members who passed with flying colours.
